Canyon Falls Office Products, Inc. began in the Indianapolis garage of its founder, Edd Patterson, on January 15, 1991. His wife, Karol, joined him in 1992 and worked from an office in their bedroom. Together they built a reputation of simply being a “good, honest company” their customers could count on.
Soon outgrowing the space in their home, Edd and Karol rented a small office on South Meridian St. on the far south side of Indianapolis and hired a service technician as their first employee. The young company continued to prosper and grow in its new location. Their number two son, Rob Crowell, left the US Army in 1994 and joined the company as its second technician. Soon afterwards, Steve Stapley moved from his native country of Canada to Indianapolis to join this new and emerging company.
Together, Edd, Karol, Rob and Steve built a solid company with an impeccable reputation for quality work, value for the dollar and unsurpassed business ethics. Those principles were and still are the driving force behind this American success story.
Having grown to a staff level of a dozen employees, the company moved to its current location on the west side of Indy in 2000. With the company continuing to experience solid growth and an ever-expanding customer base, Edd retired in 2005 to pursue his artist hobby. Rob Crowell was elevated to the position of President which he holds today.
